Severed Heads: A note on this collection

I have always suspected that a brain in a box was the wrong idea. In a way, this collection of essays and poems represents a period of clarification of some key ideas for me, and so you will find duplications and reworkings of themes throughout. I hope that following the process is at least as interesting as reading a well-articulated summary.

One of these days I will write another real book. One of these days I will plant and tend a garden, too, and spend more time with my family, and brush my cats. In the meantime thanks for your interest.
